Playground Safety Surfacing
Our rubber mats are the ideal solution for ensuring playground safety. Our anti-slip rubber playground flooring tiles can withstand changes in temperature and have enhanced drainage properties so that they can provide a safe play environment, year round. While previously recycled rubber mulch, wood chips or tarmac might have been used as playground surfacing, the use of rubber tiles around play equipment can significantly reduce the amount of slips and falls because of the extra stability underfoot while offering the same level of impact protection.
Rubber Playground Surfaces
Our safety tested rubber playground tiles have all passed the critical fall height test of 1m in accordance with EN 1177. This ensures that all necessary regulations set by the UK government in regard to the rubber flooring tiles have been met, and they are deemed to be safe for use in play areas and in schools. Another benefit of our heavy duty rubber playground mats is that due to the holes in the cellular structure, grass is able to grow through to maintain the natural feel of your outdoor play areas.
